Krimpkous CellPack 240168, 100 cm lengte, per stuk verpakt

CellPack 240168 is a single-piece heat-shrink tubing supplied in a 100 cm length and intended for electrical insulation and protective covering of wires, cable joints and connectors. The product provides a tight, conformal sleeve after heat application, improving mechanical protection and offering resistance to moisture and abrasion. The tubing is suitable for routine wiring repairs, cable harnessing, and sealing electrical connections where a single-length sleeve is required.

Advantages

The heat-shrink tubing forms a secure, close-fitting barrier when heated, reducing exposure of conductors to mechanical wear and environmental factors. Its single-piece packaging ensures predictable length for small repair tasks and installations. The material resists abrasion and moisture, contributing to longer-lasting cable joints and cleaner harness assemblies.

Suitable for

• Insulating exposed wire ends and soldered joints
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths and protective sleeving
• Bundling and organizing small cable harnesses
• Sealing connectors and terminals against moisture and dust

Key specifications

• Length: 100 cm (single piece)
• Form: heat-shrinkable tubing
• Primary functions: electrical insulation, mechanical protection, moisture and abrasion resistance
• Application method: shrinks to a tight sleeve when heated

How to use

Slide the tubing over the wire, splice or connector so the damaged or exposed area is fully covered. Apply controlled heat evenly along the length of the tubing using a heat gun, hot air tool or suitable heat source until the tube contracts to a snug fit around the component. Allow the tubing to cool to ambient temperature to complete the shrink and set the protective sleeve. Trim excess length if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a regulated heat gun at appropriate distance to avoid overheating surrounding insulation or connectors. For best results, ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. Additional lengths are available on request; a standard spool may contain sections tied together.
