Krimpkous CellPack 204298, 15 m lengte, per stuk

CellPack 204298 is a heat-shrink tubing intended for electrical insulation and cable protection. Supplied as a single 15 m length, this tubing shrinks when heated to form a tight, protective layer over joints, splices and terminals. It provides mechanical reinforcement and environmental protection for common wiring repair, harnessing and insulation tasks in residential, commercial and light industrial applications.

Advantages

The tubing offers reliable shrink performance to create a secure, close-fitting cover that resists abrasion, moisture and light contaminants. Its single-length format simplifies inventory and application, while compatibility with standard heat sources allows controlled shrinking without specialized equipment. Sections on the spool may be tied together for handling and do not affect performance.

How to use

Slide an appropriate length of tubing over the cable, splice or terminal before making the electrical connection when possible, or position it over the repaired area afterwards if access allows. Apply a steady, even heat source such as a heat gun, keeping the nozzle moving to avoid concentrated overheating. Heat until the tubing contracts uniformly and conforms to the underlying shape; allow to cool before handling. Cut to length with scissors or a sharp blade and ensure the tube fully covers the targeted area.

Recommendations

For best results, choose a tubing diameter that allows a snug fit after shrinking and use a controlled heat source. Ensure surfaces are clean and free from oil or loose debris. When working near heat-sensitive components, maintain adequate distance or use localized shielding. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve material properties.
