Graveerstift Dremel 9901DM

The Dremel Max Tungsten Carbide Carving Bit 9901DM is a heavy-duty engraving and carving accessory with a 3.2 mm diameter and a total length of 39 mm. Made from hardened steel and coated with Titanium Nitride (TiN), this Dremel accessory is engineered to offer increased wear resistance and lasts up to twice as long as standard, non-coated bits. It is compatible with Dremel rotary tools and intended for precision shaping, smoothing and grinding of hard materials.

Advantages

The Titanium Nitride coating improves durability and reduces wear during demanding tasks. The hardened-steel construction provides the strength needed for aggressive material removal while the cylinder-shaped tip enables flat-bottom slots, grooves, flat side cuts, rounding edges, stop cuts and V-cuts when used at the proper angle. The 9901DM is suitable for fine engraving and carving on metals, ceramics, plastics and hard woods and is rated for up to 35,000 RPM.

Suitable for

• Metal and glass engraving
• Stone carving and detail work
• Removing flash from castings and mold finishing
• Shaping and smoothing hardened steel, cast iron and hard woods
• Creating flat-bottom slots, grooves and V-cuts

How to use

Fit the 9901DM securely in the collet or chuck of your Dremel rotary tool. Allow the tool and the accessory to do the cutting; do not force the bit or apply excessive pressure. For effective material removal and a smooth finish, use the sides of the accessory head at an angle less than 90 degrees and adjust RPM upward if the bit chatters. Test on scrap material first or check the recommended application icon/video to verify the result. Do not use this accessory for drilling or enlarging holes that are less than twice the bit diameter, as the tip can catch the side of a hole and break.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate eye, respiratory and hand protection when working with hard materials. Secure the workpiece, work at recommended speeds, and replace the bit if excessive wear, chattering or damage occurs.
