Dremel 83322 siliciumcarbide slijpsteen 3,2 mm (26153322JA)

The Dremel 83322 rotary tool bit is designed for precision work on a variety of hard surfaces including stone, glass, ceramics, porcelain and non-ferrous metals. It comes as a pack of three bits with a 3.2 mm shank diameter and a total length of 39 mm, and is rated for use at speeds up to 25,000 RPM.

Advantages

The Dremel 83322 offers consistent cutting and shaping performance on brittle and hard materials, providing fine control thanks to its 3.2 mm shank compatibility with most rotary tools. The three-piece pack gives spare bits for extended projects and reduces downtime for replacements. The bit’s design minimizes chipping on fragile surfaces when used at appropriate speeds.

Suitable for

• Grinding and shaping stone and ceramics
• Grinding and smoothing glass and porcelain
• Working on non-ferrous metals (light grinding and shaping)
• Detail work and small-scale DIY projects requiring precision

How to use

Install the 3.2 mm shank of the Dremel 83322 into a compatible collet or chuck and secure it according to your rotary tool’s instructions. Select an appropriate rotational speed—up to 25,000 RPM—based on the material; lower speeds are recommended for delicate materials such as glass and porcelain. Apply light, steady pressure and keep the bit moving to avoid overheating or chipping. Replace bits from the pack as they wear to maintain consistent results.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, dust mask, and gloves) and work in a well-ventilated area. For best results on glass and porcelain, start at a lower speed and use water or coolant where appropriate to reduce heat and dust. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent breakage of brittle materials.
