Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858716 1m Cat6a S/FTP groen

The Dexlan 858716 1m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 1-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Built to Cat6a performance levels with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this green cable supports reliable data transmission for demanding network environments while maintaining compact length for patch panels, workstations, and equipment racks.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its screened foil over twisted pairs combined with an overall braided shield. The construction supports frequencies up to Cat6a specifications and helps maintain signal integrity at higher data rates. Its RJ-45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports, and the 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter while offering sufficient reach for short cable runs.

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other end into the corresponding port on the switch, router, wall outlet, or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place for secure contact. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain gentle curves and route the cable away from power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable using cable management accessories without compressing the shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short patching runs up to 1 meter and within infrastructure where shielding improves reliability. Test connections after installation with appropriate network testing tools to confirm link speed and signal quality.
