Netwerkkabel Dexlan 858368 15 m Cat6a S/FTP wit

The Dexlan 858368 15m Cat6a S/FTP White networking cable is a 15-metre Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6a performance and shielded with S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil-shielded pairs) for reduced electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable contact and consistent data transfer. The white jacket offers a neutral look suitable for visible installations in homes, offices and commercial environments while supporting high-speed network links up to 10 Gbps over appropriate hardware.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved noise immunity compared with unshielded alternatives, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment or multiple bundled cables. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without relying on additional extenders. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and the cable construction supports stable throughput for demanding applications that require low packet loss and consistent latency.

How to use

Uncoil the Dexlan Cat6a cable carefully to avoid kinks and route it along the planned path, keeping bends above the recommended minimum bend radius to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers and computers until a positive click is felt. For best performance, avoid tightly bundling this cable with power lines and keep the cable run within the supported length for the intended Ethernet standard. If the installation requires connecting to shielded outlets or panels, ensure proper grounding of the shield at one or both ends according to local installation practice.

Recommendations

Use the S/FTP cable in installations where electromagnetic interference may affect network performance. For permanent structured cabling, verify compatibility with existing panels and grounding practices. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear that could compromise shielding or signal quality.
