Krimpkous-set DeLOCK 19400 meerkleurig polyethyleen

The DeLOCK 19400 heat shrink tube set is made of polyethylene and is designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical conduits. When heated, each sleeve contracts around the cable to form a tight seal that reduces exposure to weather and mechanical damage. The multicolour assortment and a range of diameters help with identification and organization of wiring in both domestic and professional environments.

Advantages

The set includes multiple diameters and colours to cover a wide range of cable sizes and marking needs. Polyethylene construction provides good electrical insulation and mechanical protection. Tubing shrinks to approximately half its original diameter when heated, ensuring a secure fit around connectors and splices.

Suitable for

• Repairing and insulating electrical wires
• Colour-coding and organising cable bundles
• Automotive and workshop wiring repairs
• Home electronics and hobby projects
• Industrial wiring and connector protection

How to use

Slide an appropriate length of heat shrink tubing over the cable or joint before making the electrical connection. After preparing the splice or connector, position the tubing centrally over the area to be insulated and apply heat evenly using a hot air gun or other controlled heat source until the tube contracts and forms a tight seal. Allow to cool before handling.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use a regulated hot air gun and heat evenly from a distance to avoid overheating; select a tubing diameter slightly larger than the unshrunk cable so it fully covers the splice before shrinking.
