Krimpkous CellPack 144498, 100 cm lengte, 1 stuk

CellPack 144498 heat-shrink tubing is a single-piece, 100 cm length tube designed for electrical insulation, cable protection and repair. The medium-wall polyolefin construction provides reliable shrink-fit coverage for wires, splices and connectors, offering improved dielectric performance and mechanical reinforcement where applied. Supplied as one unit per pack, this heat shrink tube suits a range of small-scale electrical and automotive tasks as well as household appliance maintenance.

Advantages

The tubing is inscribable for marking, chemically resistant and stabilized against UV exposure to extend service life in indoor and some outdoor applications. It is free from paint-wetting inhibiting substances and non-corrosive, ensuring compatibility with common installation materials. With high tensile strength, resistance to cold flow and self-extinguishing properties, the product combines mechanical protection with enhanced electrical insulation.

Suitable for

• Insulating wire joints and splices
• Protecting and bundling automotive wiring
• Repairing insulation on small appliances and consumer electronics
• Marking and identifying cables after shrinking (inscribable surface)

Key specifications

• Material: medium-wall polyolefin (heat-shrinkable)
• Length: 100 cm
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Electrical properties: superior dielectric performance
• Mechanical properties: high tensile strength and resistance to cold flow
• Chemical and environmental resistance: resistant to chemical agents and stabilized against UV
• Safety: self-extinguishing and non-corrosive
• Surface: inscribable for marking

How to use

Cut the heat-shrink tubing to required length, slide it over the cable, splice or connector, and apply heat evenly using a heat gun or suitable heating tool until the tubing conforms tightly to the component. Ensure the heat source is moved continuously to prevent local overheating and to achieve uniform shrinkage. Allow the tubing to cool before handling to ensure a secure fit and restored insulating properties.

Recommendations

For best results, select tubing diameter with appropriate shrink ratio relative to the wire or connector dimensions. Use a regulated heat gun and maintain a safe distance to avoid overheating adjacent materials. Where exposure to prolonged outdoor UV or aggressive chemicals is expected, confirm suitability for the specific environment before prolonged use. Other lengths are available on request for tasks requiring longer runs.
