Zalman Z-MACHINE 500 computerbehuizing midi tower zwart

ZALMAN Z-MACHINE 500 Midi Tower Black is a mid-tower PC case engineered to balance component compatibility and cooling capability. The chassis supports Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and EATX motherboards and provides mounting for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives. Designed with tempered glass and aluminium elements in a black finish, the case accommodates 120 mm radiators at the front and top to enable effective liquid or air cooling configurations while maintaining a compact footprint with dimensions of 280 mm (W) × 630 mm (D) × 602 mm (H).

Advantages

The ZALMAN Z-MACHINE 500 combines a spacious interior for high-end components with focused cooling support, including front and top 120 mm radiator compatibility. The tempered glass side panel allows component visibility without compromising structural rigidity provided by aluminium construction. Multiple drive mounting options for 2.5" and 3.5" storage devices and a selection of front I/O ports (USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0) offer flexibility for modern builds, while the absence of a preinstalled power supply reduces unnecessary bulk for custom PSU choices.

Suitable for

• Custom gaming PC builds requiring mid-to-full-size motherboards (ATX, EATX)
• Workstation systems that need multiple storage drives and effective cooling
• Compact liquid cooling setups using 120 mm front or top radiators
• Showcase builds using a tempered glass side panel

How to use

Install the chosen motherboard supported by the case, then mount the power supply (not included) in the designated location. Attach storage drives to the provided 2.5" and 3.5" bays and secure expansion cards in the rear slots. For liquid cooling, fit a 120 mm radiator at the front or top positions according to radiator and fan thickness compatibility. Connect front-panel connectors including USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 to the motherboard headers, route cables neatly to maintain airflow, and close the tempered glass side panel once components and cable management are complete.

Recommendations

Use low-profile or slim radiators and fans when planning dual-purpose radiator+fan assemblies to ensure clearance for tall CPU coolers or memory modules. Ensure the power supply length and GPU dimensions are checked against internal clearance measurements before final component selection. Regularly clean dust filters and internal surfaces to preserve airflow efficiency and cooling performance.
