Wandmontagerack EFB Elektronik 691703VTS

The EFB Elektronik 691703VTS wall mounted rack is a compact, space-saving cabinet designed for mounting network and small server equipment on walls. With a depth of 146 mm and overall dimensions that allow vertical installation where floor space is limited, this IP20-rated rack provides basic protection against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm while allowing good ventilation and easy access to installed devices. The design supports organized cable routing and routine maintenance without occupying valuable floor area.

Advantages

The wall mounted rack combines a compact footprint with robust construction to support network switches, patch panels and other 19-inch compatible components in areas with limited space. Its IP20 protection rating ensures prevention of incidental contact with internal parts and blocks entry of larger particles. Front and rear access options facilitate installation and service, while the shallow depth reduces protrusion from the wall, making it suitable for corridors, utility rooms and small equipment closets.

Suitable for

• Mounting network switches and patch panels in offices and retail spaces
• Housing small routers, firewalls or UPS units where space is restricted
• Telecommunications and structured cabling distribution points
• Equipment closets, corridor installations and service rooms with wall-mount requirements

Key specifications

• Width: 537 mm
• Depth: 146 mm
• Height: 475 mm
• Protection rating: IP20 (protection against solid objects >12.5 mm)
• Wall-mount format with 19-inch equipment compatibility

How to use

Secure the rack to a suitably rated vertical surface using appropriate fasteners for the wall material and the rack load. Install 19-inch compatible equipment on the mounting rails, route cables through designated openings and secure connections. Ensure there is adequate ventilation and clearance around active devices. Follow manufacturer guidelines for weight distribution and do not exceed rack or wall fastener load limits.

Recommendations

Place the rack where it will not obstruct walkways and maintain a minimum clearance for airflow. Use cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors and to keep front and rear access areas clear for maintenance. For environments requiring higher dust or moisture protection, consider solutions with a higher IP rating.
