Voeding HP L29869-001 – 250W ATX-formaat

HP L29869-001 is a 250W power supply unit in ATX form factor designed for HP desktop systems. It delivers regulated DC power to the motherboard, storage devices and peripherals using standard ATX connectors, ensuring stable voltage under typical desktop workloads. The compact design and compatibility with HP desktop chassis make this unit suitable for system replacements or repairs where a reliable 250W PSU is required.

Advantages

This 250W ATX power supply provides stable output voltages and includes the common connector set needed for HP desktop systems, allowing straightforward swap-in replacement. Its compact ATX form factor supports installation in constrained internal spaces, while built-in protection features help maintain system stability by preventing damage from overcurrent or short-circuit conditions. The unit is intended to maintain correct voltage levels under normal desktop loads, reducing the likelihood of unexpected shutdowns or component stress.

Suitable for

• Replacing a failed or degraded power supply in compatible HP desktop PCs
• System repairs and refurbishments where a compact 250W ATX PSU is required
• Small office and home desktops with low to moderate power requirements
• Service centers assembling or maintaining HP-branded desktop systems

Key specifications

• Rated power: 250 watts
• Form factor: ATX
• Output type: Regulated DC rails for motherboard, storage and peripherals
• Connectors: Standard ATX motherboard connector and auxiliary drive/peripheral connectors
• Protection features: Overcurrent and short-circuit protection (built-in)

How to use

Power down the computer, disconnect it from mains and open the case following the manufacturer's service instructions. Remove the existing power supply if present, noting the routing of cables and connector positions. Install the HP 250W ATX power supply into the PSU bay, secure it with screws, and reconnect the main ATX motherboard connector along with any drive and peripheral connectors. Verify that cable routing does not obstruct fans or airflow. Close the case, reconnect mains power and perform a system power-on test to confirm stable operation and correct voltage delivery.

Recommendations

Use this power supply in systems whose combined component power draw does not exceed the unit's 250W rating. Ensure proper case ventilation and clean, dust-free vents to maintain cooling performance. For systems with high-power graphics cards or numerous drives, consider a higher-wattage PSU. Only perform installation if you are comfortable working inside desktop PCs; otherwise seek professional service.
