Vivolink OPTIC HDMI 8K-kabel 40 meter

The Vivolink OPTIC 8K HDMI Cable (40 m) is a fiber-optic HDMI cable engineered for professional AV installations and long-distance signal transmission. It uses optical fiber and Kevlar reinforcement to deliver lossless audio and video over extended runs while resisting electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The cable features male HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and supports HDMI 2.1 capabilities for high-resolution displays.

Advantages

Fiber-optic construction provides stable, lossless transmission over long distances and reduces susceptibility to EMI and RFI. Kevlar fibers and connector lock rings increase mechanical strength and protect the internal fibers during installation in walls, ceilings and cable trays. The cable supports HDMI 2.1 features, including high resolutions up to 7680 × 4320 at 60 Hz, HDCP 2.2 compliance, ARC and HDMI Ethernet Channel, making it suitable for demanding AV setups.

Suitable for

• Professional AV installations in event venues and broadcast facilities
• Long-distance HDMI runs in commercial buildings and home theaters
• Environments with high EMI/RFI where copper cables may fail
• Installations requiring robust cable routing through walls, ceilings and ducts

How to use

Route the Vivolink OPTIC 8K HDMI cable between source and display devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Insert the HDMI Type A connectors fully into the corresponding HDMI ports on source and sink devices. Use the connector lock rings where provided to secure connections for fixed installations. For in-wall or ceiling runs, follow local building codes and conduit requirements; avoid compressing the cable or exceeding the specified pull resistance during installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connectors, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources when possible, and do not exceed the 20 kg pull resistance during installation. Verify device compatibility with HDMI 2.1 features and HDCP 2.2 if protected content will be used.
