The 6 mm cable diameter contributes to durability while maintaining flexibility for typical desktop and workstation setups. The cable’s white finish allows for a neutral appearance in a variety of environments.

• Connecting a graphics card DisplayPort to DVI projectors or displays
• Simple point-to-point video setups where DVI input is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: DVI
• Product colour: White
• Cable diameter: 6 mm

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the DeLOCK 83814 cable to the source device (for example a computer or graphics card) and plug the DVI end into the display’s DVI input. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the corresponding DVI channel. No additional drivers are required for basic video transmission; adjust resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics driver if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the cable for uncompressed digital video where the display supports DVI input. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and secure cable routing to prevent strain. If the display or source requires audio or higher video standards (such as dual-link DVI bandwidth beyond single-link limits), verify compatibility before use.
