Ventilator Silverstone FN81 computerbehuizing-ventilator zwart

The Silverstone FN81 Computer case Fan Black is an 80mm cooling fan designed to improve airflow in computer cases. Built with a focus on quiet operation and durable construction, this fan suits gaming rigs and high-performance systems that require added ventilation. The black finish integrates unobtrusively into most builds while the compact 80mm size enables installation in a variety of available fan slots to complement existing cooling setups.

Advantages

The FN81 offers reliable airflow for small-form or dedicated spot cooling without introducing significant noise. Its compact 80mm form factor allows fitment in constrained spaces where larger fans cannot be used, and the black colour provides a neutral aesthetic compatible with most case interiors. Designed for straightforward installation, the fan functions as an effective secondary or supplemental cooler to maintain component temperatures under load.

Suitable for

• Adding FN81 for additional cooling in available 80mm fan slots
• Cooling small form-factor and compact PC cases
• Supplemental airflow for hard drive bays, VRM areas or GPU intake/exhaust
• Replacement of worn or noisy 80mm case fans

Key specifications

• Fan size: 80 mm
• Product colour: Black
• Intended use: case ventilation / supplemental cooling
• Mounting: standard 80mm fan screw pattern
• Compatibility: fits cases with 80mm fan slots

How to use

Turn off and unplug your PC before installing the fan. Identify an available 80mm fan slot in your case and align the FN81 to the mounting holes with the airflow direction oriented as needed for intake or exhaust. Secure the fan with four screws through the standard screw pattern. Connect the fan cable to an appropriate header on the motherboard or a fan controller; verify power and adjust fan settings in BIOS or software if supported. After installation, monitor system temperatures and noise levels to confirm improved airflow and stable operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use the FN81 to target specific hotspots—such as drive cages, VRM areas or GPU sections—and balance intake and exhaust fans to maintain positive or neutral case pressure. Regularly inspect and clean the fan blades and filter areas to preserve cooling performance and minimize noise.
