Draadverbinder Preisner FPS0729 F zilver

The Preisner FPS0729 F Silver wire connector by Televes is a single-piece metal connector finished in silver, designed for secure electrical connections in a range of installations. Its compact F-type form factor offers straightforward mechanical coupling and reliable electrical contact, suitable for indoor and protected outdoor use where a compact metal F connector is required. The pack contains one connector, allowing targeted replacement or installation without excess packaging.

Advantages

The connector's metal construction provides mechanical robustness and improved shielding compared with plastic alternatives. The silver finish offers corrosion resistance and consistent conductivity across the contact surfaces. Its F-type geometry ensures repeatable mating with standard coaxial cables and equipment, while the single-item packaging supports precise component selection for repairs or small projects.

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the appropriate length, ensuring the center conductor and dielectric are prepared according to the connector's installation requirements. Slide the connector onto the cable, seating the dielectric and center conductor into the correct positions, and secure the connector using the recommended crimping or compression method for the specific F-type design. After installation, verify mechanical tightness and electrical continuity with appropriate testing equipment before finalizing the cable run.

Recommendations

Use suitable tools for stripping and installing F-type connectors to avoid damaging the conductor or dielectric. For outdoor or exposed installations, combine the metal connector with appropriate weatherproofing measures such as sealing tape or housings to prevent moisture ingress and maintain long-term performance.
