Takzaag Bahco 4211-14-6T

The Bahco 4211-14-6T pruning saw features a 36 cm stainless steel blade designed for cutting wood. Weighing approximately 280 g and fitted with a comfortable wooden handle, this pruning saw is intended for accurate manual pruning and limb removal. Its blade geometry and tooth count provide efficient cutting performance while stainless steel construction helps resist corrosion during outdoor use.

Advantages

The stainless steel blade delivers durable edge retention and corrosion resistance suitable for seasonal outdoor work. The lightweight design and ergonomically shaped wooden handle reduce hand fatigue and improve grip control during repetitive pruning tasks. The blade length balances reach and maneuverability, enabling controlled cuts in confined and open areas alike.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches in gardens and orchards
• General tree and shrub maintenance
• Landscaping tasks requiring precise manual cutting
• Cutting fresh and dry wood for trimming and clearance

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade length: 36 cm
• Weight: approximately 280 g
• Handle material: wood
• Tooth configuration: pruning saw tooth pattern suitable for cross-cutting wood

How to use

Secure a stable position and support the branch to be cut to prevent unexpected movement. Hold the wooden handle firmly with a comfortable grip and begin cutting with smooth, controlled strokes, letting the teeth do the work rather than forcing the blade. For thicker branches, start with shallow cuts and deepen gradually to maintain control and reduce blade binding. After each session, remove debris and sap from the blade and wipe dry to preserve the stainless steel surface.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves and eye protection when pruning. Store the saw in a dry place and periodically inspect the blade for damage; resharpen or replace the blade according to wear. Avoid cutting metal or abrasive materials to maintain tooth integrity and prolong useful life.
