Stanleymes Cimco 120050 rood opvouwbaar mes

The Cimco 120050 Red Folding Blade Knife is a compact utility knife with a folding design and a sharp replaceable blade. Finished in a red casing, the tool is intended for general cutting tasks where a portable and safe knife is required. Its folding mechanism allows the blade to be stowed when not in use, reducing exposure during transport and storage.

Advantages

The folding design provides safer storage and easier transport compared to fixed-blade knives. The compact size supports comfortable handling and straightforward one-handed operation for routine cutting tasks. A replaceable blade ensures continued cutting performance without needing to replace the entire tool, and the simple construction facilitates maintenance and cleaning.

Suitable for

• Opening boxes and packaging
• Cable and material trimming in workshops
• Craft and DIY cutting tasks
• General-purpose use in a toolbox or work van

Key specifications

• Design: folding blade knife with compact handle
• Color: red handle
• Blade type: sharp replaceable utility blade
• Intended use: general cutting and trimming tasks
• Portability: pocket- or toolbox-sized for everyday carry

How to use

Open the knife by unfolding the blade from the handle until it locks into position. Hold the handle securely and use the blade to make controlled cuts along the material, applying steady pressure and keeping fingers clear of the cutting line. When the blade becomes dull, retract or fold it into the handle, then replace the blade according to the manufacturer’s blade-change method. After blade replacement, ensure the blade is locked properly before use.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves and eye protection when cutting. Always fold the blade away and store the knife safely when not in use. Replace blades promptly when dull to maintain cutting efficiency and reduce the need for excessive force.
