PoE-adapter Gembird PP12-POE-0.15M-W

The Gembird PP12-POE-0.15M-W is a white passive PoE adapter kit designed to deliver both power and data over a single Ethernet cable. The kit contains two compact adapters (an injector and a splitter) that allow an IP camera or similar network device to receive network connectivity and DC power without requiring a nearby power outlet. The short 0.15 m form factor makes it suitable for discreet installations near devices.

Advantages

This PoE adapter kit is plug-and-play and requires no installation or configuration. It transfers power and data over a single cable, reducing cable clutter and eliminating the need to run a separate power line. The compact white adapters are compatible with many IP cameras and other small network devices that accept separate DC power and Ethernet connections.

Suitable for

• IP cameras that require separate DC power and Ethernet
• Small network devices in locations without nearby power outlets
• Short-distance PoE setups and discreet installations

Key specifications

• Brand: GEMBIRD
• Model: PP12-POE-0.15M-W
• Type: Passive PoE injector + splitter kit
• Cable length / adapter size: 0.15 m
• Colour: White
• Application: Power and data over single Ethernet cable for devices such as IP cameras

How to use

Connect the injector unit to a DC power source and to your network switch or router using an Ethernet cable. Run a single Ethernet cable from the injector to the splitter located next to the IP camera or device. Attach the splitter’s Ethernet output to the device’s network port and connect the splitter’s DC output to the device’s power input. Power and network data will be delivered over the same cable, providing the device with both functions simultaneously.

Recommendations

Use shielded or good-quality Ethernet cable for reliable transmission. Verify the device’s required DC voltage and polarity before connecting to the splitter; this kit is passive and does not perform voltage conversion or negotiation. Not compatible with active IEEE 802.3af/at PoE negotiation—intended for devices that accept passive PoE.
