Patchpanel Extralink CAT5E STP V2 24 poorten

The Extralink Patch Panel CAT5E STP V2 24 Port is a 1U rack-mounted panel designed to organize and terminate network cabling in structured cabling systems. It provides 24 RJ45 Cat5e STP/FTP ports and fits standard 19" rack rails with a width of 482.6 mm. The panel is intended to connect horizontal cabling to active devices using appropriate patch cords and maintain proper shielding and connection standards.

Advantages

The patch panel supports Cat5e STP/FTP cabling to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity. Its 1U format and standard mounting screw pattern allow easy installation into 19" racks alongside active equipment. Front RJ45 ports simplify connection with patch cords, while rear termination compatible with Krone-style punchdown tools ensures secure cable attachment.

Suitable for

• Office and data‑cabinet network patching
• Structured cabling termination in small to medium networks
• Organizing horizontal Cat5e STP/FTP cabling runs

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 × RJ45
• Category: Cat5e (STP/FTP)
• Rack size: 1U, 19" compatible
• Width: 482.6 mm
• Colour: Black
• Rear termination: Krone‑compatible punchdown

How to use

Mount the patch panel into standard 19" rack rails using the same screws as for active devices. Terminate incoming horizontal Cat5e STP/FTP cables on the rear using a Krone‑compatible punchdown/crimping tool following the panel's wiring labels. Connect front RJ45 ports to switches or other active devices with Cat5e patch cords of matching category and shielding to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain consistent category and shielding type between horizontal cables, patch cords, and connected devices; avoid sharp bends and keep cable lengths within Cat5e specifications.
