Patchkabel ACT CAT6A U/UTP PVC 305m zwart

The ACT CAT6A U/UTP PVC 305m Black patch cable is a bulk network cable designed for structured cabling installations and long runs. It features unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP) constructed to meet Category 6A performance, supporting high-speed data transmission and limiting crosstalk in Ethernet networks. The black PVC jacket provides mechanical protection, flexibility for routing in trays and conduits, and resistance to everyday wear in office or residential environments.

Advantages

This cable supports Cat6A performance levels, enabling higher throughput and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. The unshielded twisted pair design reduces alien crosstalk when installed according to industry best practices. The PVC outer sheath offers durability and easier handling during installation, while the 305 m spool length reduces the need for frequent joins in long-distance runs and is suitable for bulk cabling projects.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks up to 10 Gbps where Cat6A performance is required
• Structured cabling in offices, data closets and server rooms
• Patch panels, wall outlets and long horizontal or vertical cable runs
• Residential or small business LAN installations requiring a durable outer jacket

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6A (Category 6A performance)
• Conductor configuration: Unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP)
• Length: 305 m
• Outer jacket material: PVC
• Colour: Black
• Intended use: Ethernet / structured cabling

How to use

Measure the required run length and cut the cable from the spool, allowing extra length for termination and routing. Strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs, maintain pair twist as much as possible, and terminate into compatible RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks or patch panels rated for Cat6A. Route the cable through trays, conduits, or cable management systems, avoiding sharp bends and close parallel runs with power cabling. Test each terminated link with an appropriate cable tester to verify continuity and Cat6A performance parameters.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, follow installation guidelines for Cat6A cabling: limit untwisting of pairs during termination, maintain recommended bend radius, separate data cabling from power sources to reduce interference, and use certified connectors and testing equipment to validate 10 Gbps links.
