Patchkabel ACT CAT5E U/UTP Litze zwart 305 m

ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable, 305 m spool in black, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured cabling. The cable contains four unshielded twisted pairs with stranded AWG24 copper conductors and a PVC jacket, reducing crosstalk while maintaining flexibility for installation.

Advantages

The stranded AWG24 copper conductors provide good flexibility for patching and frequent handling. Unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP) lower interference between pairs to support stable Ethernet connections. The PVC outer jacket offers mechanical protection and simple routing in horizontal and patch-panel installations. A 305 m spool length reduces the number of joins and is convenient for larger runs or stock in installations.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks up to CAT5E performance (100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T where supported)
• Horizontal cabling in offices and homes
• Patch panels, switch-to-wall outlet connections, and equipment patching

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 305 m spool, strip the jacket and untwist pairs only as much as needed for reliable termination. Terminate cables with compatible RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks using industry-standard wiring schemes (TIA/EIA 568A or 568B). Avoid sharp bends and maintain appropriate bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For long permanent links, test each run with a cable tester after termination.

Recommendations

For best results keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic sources such as mains power conduits and large motors. Use proper cable management and avoid exceeding recommended bend radius; when used in horizontal office cabling, follow local installation standards for separation and routing.
