Passieve houder Brodit 541970 tablet/UMPC zwart

The Brodit 541970 passive holder is designed for tablets and UMPCs and provides a stable, black mounting solution for vehicle use. It secures the device with a spring stud lock and attaches to a tilt swivel, allowing angle adjustment and rotation between portrait and landscape orientation while keeping access to ports such as a charging cable.

Advantages

The holder offers a simple, sturdy mounting method that keeps the tablet within easy reach and allows quick insertion and removal. The tilt swivel reduces screen glare by enabling angle adjustment, and the spring stud locking mechanism ensures the device stays in place during travel. The design allows access to side ports so charging or cable connections remain possible while mounted.

Suitable for

• Mounting tablets and UMPCs in vehicles where a compact, passive holder is required
• Use cases where frequent insertion and removal of the device is needed
• Situations requiring screen-angle adjustment to reduce reflections

Key specifications

• Model: Brodit 541970
• Type: Passive tablet/UMPC holder with spring stud lock

How to use

Install the holder onto the vehicle mount or ProClip-compatible bracket and secure it according to the mount manufacturer’s instructions. Connect any required cables such as a charger while the device is mounted.

Recommendations

The holder is intended for smaller tablets and UMPCs and for mounting on compatible vehicle brackets. Do not install on a dashboard if it obstructs the driver’s view or blocks vehicle controls. Each tablet-and-vehicle combination should be evaluated by the user for fit and stability; Brodit does not recommend dashboard installations for large tablets. Installation and use on the vehicle dashboard are at the customer’s own responsibility. For rear-seat use, consider mounting tablets on headrests using a Brodit headrest mount.
