Omschakelbare ratel KS Tools 920.1290

The KS Tools 920.1290 ratchet wrench is a hand tool engineered for repeated fastening and loosening tasks. Manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel, it delivers a balance of durability and manageable weight. The wrench incorporates a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism for fine incremental movement, allowing precise control in confined or recessed areas. Compliance with standards such as DIN 3120, ISO 1174, DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 indicates that the design and dimensions meet established industry norms for hand-operated socket wrenches.

Advantages

The chromium-vanadium construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength while keeping overall tool mass low at approximately 356 g, which reduces user fatigue during extended use. The 72-tooth ratchet delivers a small swing arc for efficient operation in tight spaces and smooth directional changes. Standardized design ensures interchangeability with compatible sockets and predictable performance under typical workshop loads.

Suitable for

• Automotive repair and maintenance
• Mechanical assembly and disassembly
• Home and DIY projects requiring socket work
• Workshop and professional technician toolsets

Key specifications

• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Ratcheting mechanism: 72-tooth
• Weight: approx. 356 g
• Standards: compliant with DIN and ISO norms for hand sockets

How to use

Select a compatible socket of the correct size and push it onto the square drive until it engages. Fit the socket and position the wrench on the fastener. Operate the ratchet by moving the handle through a small arc; the 72-tooth mechanism allows work in limited swing space. Change ratchet direction using the wrench’s selector or lever, then continue turning until the fastener is tightened or loosened as required. Inspect the tool and socket before use to ensure secure attachment and avoid rounded fasteners.

Recommendations

Use with appropriately sized sockets and avoid applying impact force or extension pipes that exceed the wrench’s intended manual torque range. Keep the ratchet mechanism clean and periodically apply light machine oil to maintain smooth operation. Store the wrench in a dry environment to minimize corrosion and check for wear before professional use.
