Netwerkkabel VALUE 15m UTP Cat.6a

The VALUE 15m UTP Cat.6a networking cable is a 15-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses a U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall braid) topology to reduce external interference. The cable features RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts and comes in a black jacket suitable for office, server room, or home installations.

Advantages

This Cat.6a cable provides increased bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, enabling 10 Gbit/s operation over shorter to medium runs. Gold-plated contacts help maintain reliable conductivity and resist corrosion, while the U/UTP structure minimizes crosstalk and electromagnetic interference in mixed-cable environments. The 15 m length offers flexibility in device placement without the need for additional patching hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and network interface cards in offices and data closets
• High-definition video streaming and videoconferencing setups
• Workstation and desktop Ethernet connections in home offices
• Server racks and small data cabinet patching where moderate cable length is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6a (augmented)
• Length: 15 m
• Topology: U/UTP (overall braid with unshielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Route the VALUE 15m UTP Cat.6a cable between network devices ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until a click is felt. Avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain minimum bend radius to preserve cable performance. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large electric motors or unshielded power cables. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories without compressing the jacket or conductors.

Recommendations

For optimal 10 Gbit/s performance, limit runs to recommended lengths for Cat.6a in structured installations and verify terminations with a network tester after installation. When installing in environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cable alternatives or additional pathway separation.
