Netwerkkabel Telegärtner CAT6a 3m wit S/FTP

The Telegärtner CAT6a 3m White S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable supports Cat6a performance up to 10 Gbps across standard Ethernet distances. The white jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for office, home, and data center environments while helping maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy settings.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving stability and throughput in congested cabling environments. The cable’s Cat6a specification ensures compatibility with modern networking equipment and supports higher bandwidth requirements. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide ready-to-use convenience, and the 3 meter length offers flexibility for common desk-to-switch or patch panel connections while minimizing excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations, and laptops to switches or routers in offices
• Patch panel to switch or switch to wall outlet connections in structured cabling
• Home network wiring for media streaming, gaming, and high-speed internet access
• Small server or network appliance connections where short runs are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends, pre-terminated
• Length: 3 meters
• Color: White outer jacket
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances
• Typical use distance: supports standard Ethernet distances up to 100 meters when used within Cat6a cabling standards

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks to preserve performance. Plug RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports of your network devices until they click. For best results, keep the cable separate from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as power cables or large transformers. Use cable management accessories to secure runs and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Telegärtner CAT6a cable for short to medium patching runs within a structured network and ensure terminations at both ends meet Cat6a standards. Avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding and signal integrity.
