Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75513-B-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75513-B-SET5 is a 3 m Cat7 networking cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It features S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over the cable run. Both ends terminate in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The cable's blue jacket offers a clear visual identification in home or office installations while supporting gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction combines an overall braid with individual foil around each pair, which helps minimize crosstalk and external interference in demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide consistent electrical contact and improved durability compared with non-plated connectors. The Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidth and stricter performance parameters than earlier categories, making this cable suitable for modern network equipment. A 3 m length balances reach and cable management for racks, desktops, and consumer networking setups.

Suitable for

• Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections
• Connecting routers, switches, modems and networked storage
• Home and small office wired networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and online gaming
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around each twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue
• Supported applications: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet, high-bandwidth data transfer

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, modem, or network interface on a computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the 3 m cable to avoid tight bends, kinks, and sources of strong electromagnetic noise for optimal performance. Test the link speed and connection status on your devices after installation to confirm expected throughput.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or unshielded electrical devices. Use cable management (clips, ties, or channels) to maintain gentle bend radii and prevent strain on connectors. Where longer runs or permanent installations are required, consider verifying compatibility with network hardware and using appropriate patch panels or keystone jacks to preserve shielding continuity.
