Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 3 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 3 m networking cable is a 3-meter, yellow patch cable designed for stable, high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) design and equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports demanding network environments where reduced interference and reliable transmission are required. The vivid yellow jacket improves visibility for easier identification in structured cabling systems and mixed installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in crowded cable runs and near electrical equipment. The Cat 6a specification enables higher bandwidth and better performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links at shorter runs compared to lower category cables. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide a ready-to-use solution that simplifies installation and minimizes termination errors. The 3 m length offers flexibility for desktop, rack, and patch panel connections where a short, reliable link is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in offices and data closets
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in small server rooms
• Short-run 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in LAN environments
• Visible cabling paths where cable identification is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a (Augmented Category 6)
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid or foil with individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends (terminated)
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or computer and the other connector into the corresponding port on the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a reliable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and proximity to high-power electrical lines to maintain optimal performance. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management accessories to secure the cable and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with power cables for long distances and keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices when deploying 10 Gigabit Ethernet to ensure compatibility. Use the yellow color to mark specific circuits or services in your documentation and cable labeling scheme.
