Netwerkkabel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m networking cable is a two-meter, shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. With S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this blue cable supports enhanced noise rejection and stable data transmission for home and office networks.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over the full cable length. The Cat 6a specification supports higher frequencies and greater bandwidth than Cat 5e or Cat 6, enabling faster data transfer rates and more consistent performance for demanding network applications. The factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide simple plug-and-play installation and a secure physical connection.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and desktop computers
• High-speed local area networks (LAN) in home or small office environments
• Streaming, online gaming and video conferencing that require stable throughput
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened overall with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or network interface on a computer) and the other RJ-45 end to the corresponding device or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or tight loops; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources when possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short runs up to 2 m where improved shielding is needed. For structured cabling, label both ends to simplify maintenance and replace damaged connectors or cables to maintain link quality. When routing near power lines or large electrical equipment, allow separation to minimize interference.
