Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K5525FWS.4 wit 4 m

The EFB Elektronik K5525FWS.4 is a 4 m Cat6A networking cable with S/FTP shielding and component certification from GHMT, designed for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It features RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a TPE outer sheath that increases flexibility and handling. The moulded slim grommet facilitates insertion in confined spaces while maintaining connector protection.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and GHMT component certification ensure consistent performance for high-speed networks. Gold-plated contacts improve connectivity and reduce corrosion. The TPE outer sheath provides enhanced flexibility for easier cable routing and placement. A slim moulded grommet reduces bulk at the connector end, simplifying use in tight cable installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks
• High-speed data transfer between network devices (switches, routers, servers)
• Office and home networking installations
• Installations requiring flexible cable routing in confined spaces

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6A (Class EA)
• Length: 4 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Outer sheath: TPE (thermoplastic elastomer)
• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• MPN: K5525FWS.4
• EAN: 4049759206512

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other plug to the corresponding device or wall outlet. Ensure secure insertion until the connector latch clicks. Route the cable along a suitable path, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks; the flexible TPE sheath allows easier routing but standard cable bend radius recommendations should be observed. For best results, use with 10 Gigabit-capable hardware and compatible patch panels.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and secure it with cable ties or clips without over-compressing the sheath. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if shielding or connectors are compromised.
