Netwerkkabel DeLOCK 85875 2m Cat6a S/FTP grijs

The DeLOCK 85875 is a 2 m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides shielded transmission for reliable high-speed data transfer and is suited for connections between network devices such as a NIC, switch or patch panel. The angled plug design allows space-saving installation in confined areas behind equipment or inside network cabinets.

Advantages

S/FTP (S-STP) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable signal quality. Cat6a specification ensures performance for high-speed Ethernet applications. The 2 m length covers typical point-to-point connections while the grey jacket offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance. Angled RJ-45 connectors enable installation in tight spaces without bending the cable sharply.

Suitable for

• Connecting a network interface card (NIC) to a switch
• Patch panel to switch or router connections
• Desktop or rack-mounted equipment in offices and server rooms
• Home network wiring where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 85875
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Length: 2 m

How to use

Insert the angled RJ-45 connector into the device Ethernet port until it clicks, then connect the other end to the corresponding port on the switch, patch panel or router. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges to maintain shielding integrity. For rack installations, guide the cable through appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the DeLOCK Cat6a S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference is required. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to unshielded power lines for long distances. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if shielding or jacket is compromised.
