Netwerk-koppelaar Helos LC duplex multimode-vezeladapter, multimode, W-stijl, 249988

Helos LC Duplex multimode fiber adapter (W-style) is a compact network coupler designed to join two multimode LC connectors with precise optical alignment. Intended for standard LC duplex multimode terminations, this adapter provides a stable mechanical interface for patch panels, fiber distribution frames and in-cabinet splicing where consistent signal transfer and minimal insertion loss are required. The adapter's W-style housing supports secure connector seating and is suitable for high-density installations in local area networks and enterprise cabling systems.

Advantages

The adapter delivers accurate ferrule alignment for multimode LC connectors to maintain low insertion loss and stable optical performance over repeated mating cycles. Its compact W-style form factor enables high port density in patch panels and enclosures while offering simple snap-in mounting and reliable retention of duplex connectors. Built for compatibility with standard multimode connector geometry, the adapter helps installers achieve consistent, repeatable connections with minimal polishing or adjustment.

Suitable for

• Joining LC duplex multimode patch cords in patch panels
• Fiber distribution units and in-cabinet terminations
• High-density telecommunication racks and network cabinets
• Field installations and rack-mounted cable management systems

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex (multi-mode)
• Adapter style: W-style compact housing
• Fiber mode: Multimode
• Mounting: Snap-in for standard panel cutouts and enclosures
• Alignment mechanism: Precision sleeve for ferrule alignment
• Typical application: Patch panels, fiber distribution frames, enclosures

How to use

Insert the adapter into the patch panel or enclosure cutout until it snaps into place, ensuring the housing is properly seated. Align and insert LC multimode connectors from each side into the adapter until they click and are fully engaged. Verify the connection by testing optical loss or continuity with appropriate test equipment. For removal, depress the housing retention mechanism if present and pull the adapter or connector straight out to avoid damage to ferrules or sleeves.

Recommendations

Handle connectors and adapter with clean hands and appropriate fiber-cleaning tools to prevent contamination. Use a visual fault locator or fiber tester to confirm low insertion loss after installation, and avoid excessive bending of multimode patch cords near the adapter to maintain performance.
