NETGEAR WBE710 Wit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The NETGEAR WBE710 access point supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands and is designed for business environments requiring high throughput and low latency. It doubles data throughput compared with WiFi 6E, supports ultra-wide 320 MHz channels for up to 5 Gbps transmission to WiFi 7 end devices, and includes advanced security such as 802.1x RADIUS, SSL/TLS, WPA/WPA2/WPA3. The device offers 1 Ethernet RJ-45 port with data rates up to 2500 Mbit/s, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, and a compact white design with a maximum power consumption of 25 W.

Advantages

Multi-Link Operation and Preamble Puncturing reduce interference and improve channel utilization to lower congestion and improve responsiveness. The WBE710 provides higher bandwidth for modern endpoints by accommodating 320 MHz channels and can reach high transmission speeds to WiFi 7 devices. Remote cloud management via NETGEAR Insight is included with a 4-year subscription for centralized local or remote administration. The unit is built using partially to fully recycled materials and supports power‑saving modes to reduce environmental impact.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business offices requiring low-latency connectivity
• Environments with high device density such as meeting rooms and training centers
• Locations that need centralized remote management and monitoring
• Installations that use PoE for simplified deployment

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz
• Wi‑Fi standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
• Ethernet: 1 × RJ‑45 port, up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Max power consumption: 25 W (PoE capable)
• Design: White, weight 0.69 kg
• Security: 802.1x RADIUS, SSL/TLS, WPA, WPA2, WPA3

How to use

Mount the WBE710 in a suitable location and connect it to your network using the RJ‑45 Ethernet port with PoE for both power and data or supply power separately if needed. Configure network settings and security via the local interface or through NETGEAR Insight cloud management to apply SSIDs, authentication (802.1x or WPA variants), and radio settings. Use channel and band planning to take advantage of Multi‑Link Operation and 320 MHz channels where client devices support them.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the access point centrally within the coverage area, avoid physical obstructions near the radio, and enable power‑saving and remote monitoring via NETGEAR Insight. When deploying in congested RF environments, enable Preamble Puncturing and Multi‑Link Operation and plan channel allocation to reduce interference.
