Mouwenstrijkplank Leifheit 71820

The Leifheit 71820 sleeve ironing board is a compact, lightweight tool designed for efficient pressing of sleeves and small garments. With a working surface of 570 x 105 mm and a low profile thickness of 4.5 cm, it fits easily on larger ironing boards or table tops and stores flat in limited spaces. The white, monochromatic cover provides a neutral, durable surface for quick touch-ups and targeted ironing tasks.

Advantages

This sleeve ironing board combines portability and stability: at only 0.87 kg it is easy to handle while maintaining a firm base for precise steaming and pressing. Its elongated narrow form is optimized for rounding and smoothing sleeves, cuffs, collars and narrow panels without creating unwanted creases. The low height makes it suitable for use on top of standard ironing boards or work surfaces, enabling better contact with the iron for accurate results.

Suitable for

• Ironing sleeves, cuffs and narrow garment parts
• Quick touch-ups and spot pressing
• Use on standard ironing boards or tables for detailed work
• Home use where compact storage is required

Key specifications

• Minimum profile thickness: 4.5 cm
• Weight: 0.87 kg
• Surface colour: white

How to use

Place the sleeve ironing board on top of a stable ironing surface or a larger ironing board with the rounded end positioned to match the sleeve shape. Slide the garment sleeve over the board so it lies smoothly along its length. Adjust the angle to access cuffs or seams, then apply the iron according to the fabric care instructions, using steam or dry heat as appropriate. For delicate fabrics, use a pressing cloth and lower iron temperature to avoid damage.

Recommendations

Use the Leifheit sleeve ironing board for targeted pressing rather than full garment ironing. Store flat in a narrow space after use. Avoid exposing the cover to direct high heat for extended periods; follow fabric care labels and iron manufacturer guidelines for temperature and steam settings.
