MicroSDXC-kaart Axis 01491-001 128 GB

AXIS Surveillance Card 128 GB is a high-performing edge storage solution optimized for video surveillance. It supports decentralized video recording directly at the camera, reducing dependence on onsite servers, DVRs or NVRs. In networks with limited bandwidth, the card allows viewing live video in lower resolution while recording high-resolution footage locally. When used with Axis Zipstream technology, AXIS Surveillance Card 128 GB enables efficient local recording of high-resolution video for primary storage or as redundant failover storage in case of lost connections.

Advantages

Provides reliable local storage at the camera for continuous recording and redundancy. Reduces network load and dependence on central recording systems by storing high-resolution video on-site. Compatible with Axis Zipstream technology to optimize storage use without sacrificing video quality. Simple integration into surveillance setups that require decentralised recording or failover capabilities.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 128 GB
• Type: Edge storage card for video surveillance
• Optimized for use with Axis Zipstream technology
• Use cases: primary local storage, redundant failover recording

How to use

Install the AXIS Surveillance Card 128 GB into a compatible Axis camera or device following the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Configure the camera to record locally to the card and set desired recording profiles; in bandwidth-limited environments, configure live streaming at reduced resolution while enabling high-resolution recording to the card. Use camera or management software to monitor storage status and manage files.

Recommendations

Verify camera compatibility and firmware requirements before installation. For continuous high-resolution recording, monitor available space and implement regular maintenance or automated file management to avoid storage exhaustion.
