• Upgrades or replacements of existing RJ-45 wall sockets

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 female
• Color: white
• Mounting: wall outlet / faceplate compatible
• Cable termination: standard twisted-pair copper cabling (UTP/STP)
• Suitable for typical Ethernet data rates (e.g., 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps) depending on installed cabling category
• Material: durable plastic housing with metal contacts

How to use

Install the socket outlet by connecting the incoming twisted-pair cables to the termination points according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Secure the outlet into a compatible wall box or faceplate and fasten with screws. Once installed, plug an RJ-45 connector from a network device or patch cable into the socket to establish the physical Ethernet connection. Test the link with a network tester or connected device to verify signal integrity and data rate.

Recommendations

Use the socket outlet with cabling that matches the required performance level (for example Cat5e, Cat6) to achieve intended data rates. Follow local wiring codes and safety practices during installation and perform a continuity and performance test after termination to confirm correct operation.
