Kabelverbinder BTR NETCOM 1401500810-I

The BTR NETCOM 1401500810-I wire connector is a Cat.6 class EA plug designed for mounting in IP67 plug housings (variants 1, 4, 5 and 14). It complies with class EA standards ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 and DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09, supports 10 GBit transmission according to IEEE 802.3an and is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE). The connector accepts solid and stranded conductors within specified diameters and allows crimp contact and shield connection in a single step using a crimping tool. Color may differ from the illustration.

Advantages

The connector offers category EA performance for high-speed Ethernet and is certified against recognized cabling standards. It supports 10 GBit Ethernet and various PoE standards, enabling data and power transmission over the same link. The single-step crimp process for contacts and shield simplifies installation, and compatibility with multiple conductor sizes and cable jackets up to 7.3 mm makes the connector adaptable to common cabling types. The IP67-compatible design when mounted in the specified housings provides environmental protection.

Suitable for

• 10 GBit Ethernet links in structured cabling
• Power over Ethernet installations (PoE, PoE+, UPoE)
• Outdoor or harsh-environment connections when used with IP67 housings (variants 1, 4, 5, 14)
• Installations requiring single-step crimping of contacts and shield

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose conductors within the specified jacket diameter. Arrange conductors according to the required wiring scheme, insert them into the plug and perform crimping with the appropriate crimping tool to connect crimp contacts and shield in a single operation. After crimping, mount the plug into a compatible IP67 housing (variant 1, 4, 5 or 14) to achieve environmental protection if required. Verify continuity and signal performance after installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector with cables and conductors that fall within the specified diameters and follow the listed standards. Employ the recommended crimping tool to ensure reliable contact and shielding. For outdoor or wet environments, always mount the plug in a specified IP67 housing to maintain ingress protection.
