Luidsprekerkabel PSSO 2x2,5 mm², 10 m, zwart

PSSO speaker cable 2x2.5 mm², 10 m, black is a two-conductor audio cable designed for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers and audio processors. The cable features two insulated conductors with a 2.5 mm² cross-section per core and a black outer sheath. It is intended for mid-power residential, studio and small-venue installations where a balance of flexibility and adequate conductor area is required. Polarity marking on the jacket and the flexible outer layer simplify routing, installation and identification of signal conductors.

Advantages

The cable provides a stable conductor area of 2.5 mm² per conductor, which reduces voltage drop and improves power transfer compared with smaller gauge speaker wires. Its flexible jacket allows easier handling and routing around corners and through conduits, while clear polarity marking minimizes connection errors during setup. The black sheath offers a discreet appearance for visible runs in home or professional environments. The construction supports reliable audio signal transmission for mid-power applications without introducing unnecessary bulk.

How to use

Strip approximately 6–8 mm of insulation from each conductor before termination to expose the bare copper. Connect the conductors to speaker and amplifier terminals making sure to match polarity markers (positive to positive, negative to negative) to maintain phase integrity. Use appropriate connectors or ferrules if required by the terminal type to ensure secure mechanical and electrical contact. Route the cable away from mains wiring and other strong electromagnetic sources to minimize interference. For in-wall installations, verify local building codes and use proper installation techniques.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessively long runs that increase resistance; for runs near the 10 m length supplied ensure tidy connections and, if needed, use terminal blocks or banana plugs for repeatable, low-resistance connections. When installing in fixed locations, secure the cable with clips or ties without crushing the jacket to preserve flexibility and conductor integrity.
