LNB Kathrein UAS 571 grijs

The Kathrein UAS 571 Grey LNB is a universal single-feed converter designed for satellite reception. It covers the 10.70–12.75 GHz frequency range and provides a single switchable output for connection to consumer receivers. The compact housing (112 x 72 x 44 mm) and light weight (360 g) make it suitable for standard satellite dish installations where a reliable single-output LNB is required.

Advantages

This LNB supports the universal low-noise block frequency band of 10.70–12.75 GHz and offers a switchable output with 14/18 V and 0/22 kHz signalling for vertical/horizontal and band switching. It is multi-feed compatible, has low current consumption (approx. 80 mA), and uses a standard F/75 connector for straightforward installation and compatibility with common coaxial cabling and satellite receivers.

Suitable for

• Single-receiver home satellite installations
• Small residential dishes requiring a compact LNB
• Setups that need multi-feed compatibility for future upgrades

How to use

Mount the Kathrein UAS 571 onto the feed arm of a compatible satellite dish so the LNB faces the dish reflector. Connect the LNB’s F/75 output to the receiver using a coaxial cable terminated with the appropriate F-connector. Power and switching between polarizations and bands are supplied by the receiver via the coaxial cable using 14/18 V and 0/22 kHz signals. Adjust dish alignment while monitoring signal quality on the receiver to obtain optimal reception.

Recommendations

Use weather-resistant coaxial connections and ensure the LNB is securely fastened to avoid misalignment. For installations with multiple receivers, consider a multiswitch or a different multi-output LNB; the UAS 571 is intended primarily for single-receiver setups.
