Lindy 2m LC-ST OM2 50/125 glasvezel-patchkabel

The Lindy 2m LC‑ST OM2 50/125 fibre optic patch cable provides a multimode connection with a 50 µm core diameter and full‑duplex capability. Designed for high‑speed data transmission, it links equipment with LC and ST terminations and is suitable for use in telecommunications and data‑centre environments where increased bandwidth is required. Ceramic ferrules in the connectors deliver low signal loss and consistent performance across standard fibre‑optic systems.

Advantages

Low insertion loss and stable optical performance provided by ceramic connectors, multimode OM2 specification for reliable short‑reach high‑speed links, and a 2 m length that suits common rack and patch‑panel installations. The LC to ST termination allows compatibility between devices using different connector types.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack interconnects
• Telecommunications equipment connections
• Network switches, media converters and fibre transceivers

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: ST
• Mode: Multimode (OM2)
• Core/cladding: 50/125 µm
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Manufacturer: Lindy

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered down or their ports are inactive before connecting. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port until each connector latches or seats correctly. For full‑duplex links use the pair of fibres according to your equipment’s transmit/receive orientation. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable in cable trays or behind racks to prevent sharp bends and mechanical stress. Inspect connector endfaces regularly and clean with appropriate fibre‑optic cleaning tools to preserve low loss and reliable connections.
