Koelsysteemaccessoire Noctua NA-SEC1

The Noctua NA-SEC1 is a fan accessory set that includes three fully sleeved NA-EC1 30 cm extension cables for 4-pin PWM fans. Designed to extend the reach of case and chassis fans, the NA-SEC1 allows neat cable routing and compatibility with standard 4-pin fan headers while maintaining Noctua's black finish and compact dimensions (110 × 150 × 30 mm).

Advantages

The set provides three individually sleeved 30 cm extension cables that preserve signal integrity for PWM control and are compatible with most motherboard fan headers. Sleeving improves cable management and aesthetics, while the 4-pin connectors enable speed control via PWM. The lightweight, black design integrates unobtrusively into various builds.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Extending 4-pin PWM fan connections in mid-tower and full-tower PC cases
• Neat cable routing when original fan cables are too short
• Daisy-chaining multiple extensions for longer reach
• Replacement or spare extensions for custom cooling builds

How to use

Connect one end of an NA-EC1 extension cable to the fan's 4-pin PWM connector and plug the other end into the motherboard or fan controller header. If a longer reach is required, connect additional NA-EC1 extensions in series by plugging one extension into another. Ensure connectors are fully seated and observe correct pin alignment for PWM functionality.

Recommendations

For reliable PWM control, avoid excessive bending or sharp kinks in the cables and ensure good contact at connectors. When daisy-chaining extensions, verify that the total cable length and connector chain do not interfere with airflow or other components. Use the set as spare or replacement extensions in systems where original fan leads are too short.
