The pencils feature a break-resistant lead formulation and an ergonomic hexagonal body that supports comfortable grip during extended drawing or colouring sessions.

Advantages

The Staedtler 185 C24P offers reliable colour intensity and even coverage across paper surfaces, reducing frequent reapplication. Its break-resistant lead minimizes core breakage when sharpening or during heavy pressure strokes. The ergonomic pencil shape improves control and reduces hand fatigue for prolonged use. Durable lacquer finish on the wooden casing protects the pencil and allows for neat sharpening.

How to use

Select the required colour and sharpen the pencil using a standard or craft sharpener suitable for coloured pencil cores. Apply colour with light, even strokes for base layers and increase pressure gradually for deeper tones. For blending, use cross-hatching or circular motions and consider layering adjacent colours to achieve smooth transitions. Store pencils horizontally or in a case to avoid accidental core damage.

Recommendations

For best results on paper, start with lighter colours and build up saturation in layers. Use a quality drawing paper with a slight tooth to enhance pigment adherence. If blending is required, test combinations on a scrap sheet to evaluate pressure and colour interaction before applying to the final work.
