Kabeltrek- en invoerhulp Cimco 141620

The Cimco 141620 cable puller-feeder is a compact tool for guiding and installing cables through conduits, ducts and confined spaces. It uses a 20 meter fiberglass rod that provides stiffness and flexibility needed to navigate bends while remaining lightweight for transport. The black and red design improves visibility on site without affecting handling. The tool is intended to make single-person cable routing tasks more manageable and reduce the need for improvised pulling aids.

Advantages

The fiberglass rod balances flexibility and rigidity so the cable can be pushed or fed through curved paths with controlled force. A 20 m length covers standard runs in residential and light commercial installations while the low weight reduces operator fatigue when carrying and feeding the rod. The visible color scheme helps locate the tool quickly on a busy worksite. The design is simple to operate, requiring minimal maintenance compared with powered alternatives.

Suitable for

• Routing electrical and communication cables through conduits and ducts
• Pulling wire in residential and small commercial installations
• Navigating tight spaces and bends where flexibility with control is required
• Single-person cable installation and preparatory cable runs

Key specifications

• Rod material: fiberglass for a balance of flexibility and stiffness
• Rod length: 20 meters for extended reach
• Color: black and red for improved visibility on site
• Weight: lightweight construction for easy handling and transport

How to use

Insert the fiberglass rod into the conduit or duct and push gently while maintaining alignment to avoid snags. When the rod reaches the target point, attach the cable securely to the rod end using an appropriate connector or tape rated for pulling operations. Feed or pull the rod back through the conduit to draw the cable into place, keeping steady, controlled motion to reduce stress on the cable. After use, clean any debris from the rod, inspect for damage and store it coiled or in a protective sleeve to preserve its condition.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working with cables and conduits. Avoid excessive bending radii on the rod to prevent permanent deformation. For long or heavy cable runs consider using a second person to assist and select connectors or tape suitable for the cable diameter and weight.
