Kabelslang DeLOCK 20939 grijs 2 cm koper polyester

The Cable Sleeve DeLOCK 20939 Grey 2 cm Copper Polyester is a braided sleeve for shielding and bundling exposed cables or electrical tubes. Constructed from polyester combined with copper braiding, it provides mechanical protection and electromagnetic shielding while fitting cables with an inner diameter of 2 cm and a length of 2000 mm. The sleeve is suitable for cable management where abrasion resistance, flexibility and environmental protection are required, and it withstands temperatures from -50 to 150 °C.

Advantages

The polyester weaving offers high abrasion resistance and weather protection, while the copper braid provides electromagnetic interference shielding. The sleeve is stretchable to accommodate multiple cables or wires of different diameters and the copper braiding maintains flexibility to prevent excessive bending. Its materials enable a wide operating temperature range and long-term durability.

Suitable for

• Organising and bundling power and signal cables
• Shielding cables from electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• Protecting wiring in industrial or outdoor environments
• Routing multiple cables through conduits or panels

How to use

Measure the total diameter of the cables or bundles to ensure they fit within the sleeve's 2 cm inner diameter. Slide the braided sleeve over the cables from one end; if necessary, expand the sleeve slightly to pass connectors or thicker sections. For long assemblies, cut the sleeve to the required length using scissors or a hot knife and secure the sleeve ends with heat shrink tubing, cable ties or tape to prevent fraying.

Recommendations

For optimal electromagnetic shielding and mechanical protection, route the sleeve to minimize sharp bends and secure both ends. When cutting the sleeve, use a method that seals the cut edge to prevent unraveling; consider additional grounding of the copper braid where required by the installation.
