InLine glasvezel duplexkabel SC/SC 50/125µm OM4 3m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM4 3m is a multimode duplex fiber cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured networks. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 grading, the cable supports increased bandwidth and extended reach compared to lower OM classifications. The SC/SC connectors provide straightforward, push-pull mating for equipment in racks, patch panels and active network devices, making this cable suitable for fiber links in data centers, server rooms and office infrastructure.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable combines OM4 multimode fiber characteristics with SC/SC connector convenience to deliver low attenuation and consistent signal quality over short to medium distances. The 3 m length offers flexibility for equipment placement while keeping link length manageable for high-performance links. The standardized 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry ensures compatibility with common multimode transceivers and passive components used in enterprise networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting servers, switches and patch panels in data centers
• High-speed local area network (LAN) links within buildings
• Fiber optic backbone segments and inter-rack connections
• Multimode transceiver connections supporting OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode (OM4)
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Polish/type: UPC/EP or APC variants not specified by product summary
• Typical use: Short to medium distance high-bandwidth multimode links

How to use

Route the duplex cable along the intended path avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to prevent microbending losses. Align the SC connectors with the corresponding adapter or port and push until the latch engages; confirm both transmit and receive channels are correctly matched between devices. For best performance, ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating and follow standard fiber handling procedures when installing in racks or patch panels.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces before installation using approved fiber cleaning tools. Maintain bend radius guidelines and secure the cable to prevent strain. Use OM4-certified transceivers and adhere to your network’s loss budget to achieve expected bandwidth and reach.
