InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel DeLOCK LC - SC 84681 2 m

This OM4 fibre optic cable by DELOCK connects networking devices such as a NIC with an SFP module to a switch or a media converter. It is 2 meters long and terminated with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other. The cable uses a 50 µm core diameter and supports full-duplex data transmission for reliable, high-speed optical links in local network and data center environments.

Advantages

The DeLOCK LC - SC OM4 cable provides low attenuation and consistent signal quality over multimode fibre, enabling stable connections between transceivers and switches. Its standardized LC and SC connectors ensure wide compatibility with SFP modules, network interface cards and passive fibre equipment. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and neat cable management in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFP-equipped NIC to a switch or media converter
• Patch links in server racks and patch panels
• Short-reach multimode fibre links in data centers and enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 84681
• EAN: 4043619846818
• Type: OM4 multimode fibre optic cable
• Connectors: LC (one end) to SC (other end)
• Length: 2 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect both fibre connectors and device ports for dust or damage before connecting. Align the LC connector with the appropriate LC port and the SC connector with the SC port on the target device, then insert until they click or seat firmly. Use gentle handling to avoid bending the fibre below its minimum bend radius. Route the cable through cable management to prevent strain and secure excess length to reduce the risk of signal loss.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep fibre endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, avoid tight bends, and verify link status via connected devices after installation. Match cable type (OM4 multimode) with compatible SFP modules and equipment designed for 50 µm multimode fibre.
