InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel DeLOCK LC - LC 5m

The DeLOCK LC - LC 5m fibre optic cable (MPN 84643, EAN 4043619846436) is an OM4 multimode duplex cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data transmission, it is intended to connect network devices such as NICs with SFP modules, switches or media converters. The cable’s violet jacket provides easy identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre optic cable supports full duplex communication and is optimized for multimode transmission with a 50 µm core, offering stable performance for short- and medium-range network links. The LC to LC connectors ensure secure, standardized connections and the 5 m length allows flexible placement of devices. The violet colour helps with visual organisation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting NICs with SFP modules to switches
• Linking switches and patch panels within data centres
• Connecting media converters to network equipment
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre links

How to use

Ensure both devices support multimode LC connections and power is turned off on networking equipment if required by your site procedures. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks into place. Verify link status on connected devices and, if necessary, perform optical testing or cable verification with appropriate test equipment. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC-LC cable for short- to medium-range multimode applications in data centres or network closets. Avoid bending below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep connectors capped when not in use, and store spare cables in a dry, dust-free environment.
