Hypertec 246790-HY netwerkkabel wit 15 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Hypertec 246790-HY 15m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable by Exertis Connect is a 15‑metre white Ethernet cable engineered to meet Cat6 performance requirements. It uses U/UTP construction with an unshielded twisted pair core and an overall unshielded jacket, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward plug-and-play installation. The cable is intended for reliable gigabit-capable data transmission across home and office networks and provides a discreet white finish for neat cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable delivers consistent signal integrity for up to gigabit Ethernet speeds while minimizing crosstalk via twisted pair geometry. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports and network devices. At 15 metres in length it offers flexibility for connecting devices across moderate distances without introducing unnecessary slack. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible installations and blends with common interior finishes.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices you want to connect, ensuring a click confirms a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cabling. For wall or ceiling runs, secure the cable with clips or cable ties at regular intervals to prevent strain on the connectors. When connecting to patch panels or switches, verify link lights on devices to confirm proper link negotiation and speed.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for general-purpose gigabit Ethernet connections in residential and office environments. For runs near heavy electrical equipment or where maximum noise immunity is required, consider a shielded cable variant. Avoid exceeding recommended bend radii and prevent repeated flexing near the connector ends to prolong service life.
