Omschrijving

Deliver photo-quality prints 2.5 times faster^[4] without losing quality. Cut post-processing time up to 20% with the first printer to include an integrated vertical trimmer.^[3] Simplify your workflow with new tools in the HP Applications Center.^[5]

Dynamic security enabled printer Certain HP printers are intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip or electronic circuitry. These printers use dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip or electronic circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and electronic circuitry enable the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.

FAST—Work without delays

Cut post-processing labor time up to 20% with the first printer to include an integrated vertical trimmer.[3]Print up to 2.5 times faster[4] without losing quality, with 2400 nozzle-per-inch high-definition printheads.Spend less time on media changes and adjustments with dual roll support and automatic roll switching.[3]

SIMPLE—New tools for you and your customers

Easily design applications from posters to banners and canvas with the HP Applications Center.[5]No disruption to your workflow, keep using your current RIPs, validated with HP RIP certification program.[6]Get remote visibility and control to better manage your print production environment with HP PrintOS.Enjoy one-click printing that also helps reduce media waste using HP Click printing software.[7]

AMAZING—Deliver high quality with confidence

Impress the most demanding customers with smooth transitions and sharp details thanks to HP Pixel Control. No need for light inks using new high-definition HP printheads with dual drop technology.Achieve expanded gamut with RGB HP Vivid Photo Inks and the embedded spectrophotometer.[1]Get superior gloss uniformity by upgrading your printer to include HP Gloss Enhancer.[2]

How to use

Install the printer on a stable surface and connect it to your network via Gigabit Ethernet or to a workstation via USB Type-A. Load media up to the supported maximum size and select the appropriate media profile in the HP Applications Center or your RIP software. For best results, choose high-resolution print settings for photo-quality output and enable the integrated vertical trimmer when finishing multiple prints to reduce manual trimming.

Recommendations

Use genuine HP media profiles and regularly update firmware and HP Applications Center tools to ensure compatibility and maintain print quality. Note that dynamic security may restrict use to cartridges with new or reused HP chips or electronic circuitry; periodic firmware updates can affect third‑party or previously functioning non‑HP cartridges.
