HDMI-wandcontactdoos LogiLink AH0018

The LogiLink AH0018 HDMI wall socket provides a clean, recessed connection point for HDMI cables with two HDMI coupler ports built into a slim white faceplate. Designed for fixed installations in living rooms, conference rooms or multimedia walls, the AH0018 supports high-definition video and multichannel audio transmission while hiding cable joints behind the wall for a neater appearance and safer cable routing.

Advantages

The dual HDMI coupler design allows two HDMI cables to be joined behind the wall without exposed adapters, reducing strain on connectors and improving cable management. The low-profile white faceplate fits standard wall boxes and offers a discreet appearance that matches most interior finishes. Durable construction ensures reliable signal continuity and a professional-looking installation suitable for residential and commercial environments.

Suitable for

• Home theater systems where wall-mounted displays or hidden source components require clean HDMI routing
• Conference rooms and offices for tidy AV installations and projector connections
• Custom AV furniture or media walls that need in-wall HDMI coupling
• Any installation that benefits from reduced cable clutter and protected HDMI junction points

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI coupler ports (female-to-female)
• Number of ports: 2 HDMI couplers
• Compatibility: Standard HDMI cables and devices supporting HDMI signals
• Faceplate color: White
• Mounting: Fits standard in-wall electrical or data back boxes
• Signal support: High-definition video and multichannel audio pass-through

How to use

Install the HDMI wall socket into a compatible in-wall mounting box following local electrical and building codes. Connect an HDMI cable from the source device to one rear coupler port and an HDMI cable from the display device to the other rear coupler port, or use the front ports to join two external HDMI cables. Ensure cables are fully seated in the couplers to maintain reliable signal transmission. After installation, the faceplate provides a finished access point for HDMI connections while concealing the cable junctions behind the wall.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, well-shielded HDMI cables to preserve signal integrity across the in-wall junction. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on cables during installation. Verify HDMI device settings (resolution, HDR, audio format) after installation to ensure compatibility. If running cables through studs or long distances, consider cable pathways and local code requirements for in-wall cable types.
