Hardwire-kit voor auto-dashcam Botslab JP805 — parkeervoedingkabel (DASH CAMERA CABLE JP805)

The Hardwire kit for car dash camera Botslab JP805 is a dedicated parking power supply cable designed to connect the Botslab JP805 dash camera directly to a vehicle's fuse box. It provides a stable power source for continuous or switched operation, enabling parking mode functionality and reducing the need to recharge or replace camera batteries. The cable is intended to deliver tidy, permanent wiring for long-term installation while offering basic protections and power-management behavior required for unattended recording.

Advantages

This hardwire kit ensures a constant or switched power feed to the dash camera, allowing the device to operate in parking mode without relying on internal batteries. The design supports a clean installation with a discrete cable routing to the fuse box, minimizing loose wiring in the cabin. When installed and configured correctly, the kit helps prevent excessive battery drain by using switched power sources or a vehicle battery monitoring fuse, and it maintains reliable camera operation during extended parking periods.

Suitable for

• Drivers who need continuous or parking-mode recording for security and evidence collection
• Vehicles where a permanent, concealed dash camera installation is preferred
• Situations requiring clean wiring and professional-looking integration with the vehicle's electrical system
• Owners who want to avoid frequent recharging of camera batteries while parked

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for Botslab JP805 dash camera
• Function: Hardwire power connection for parking mode and continuous operation
• Connection point: Vehicle fuse box interface for constant or switched power
• Power management: Supports switched power sources and battery protection when used with appropriate fuse taps or low-voltage cut-off devices
• Cable routing: Long lead cable suitable for concealed installation behind trim panels

How to use

Install the hardwire kit by routing the cable from the dash camera to the vehicle fuse box, following manufacturer instructions and local electrical safety practices. Identify a constant 12V and a switched 12V fuse position or a ground connection as required to enable desired parking-mode behavior. Use a compatible fuse tap or adapter to connect without cutting factory wires, and secure the cable along trim panels to prevent interference with vehicle controls. After connection, configure the Botslab JP805 settings for parking mode and any battery protection thresholds supported by the camera or an inline low-voltage cutoff device.

Recommendations

For reliable operation and to avoid battery depletion, use a switched ignition fuse when possible or add a low-voltage cutoff device between the vehicle battery and the hardwire cable. If unsure about fuse selection or wiring procedures, have the kit installed by a qualified car electrician to ensure correct connections and compliance with vehicle electrical systems.
